Like Father, Like Son
Back-dated Post: Father's Day 2009
From the day Ian was born, it is a common acknowledgement that he looks like his daddy :)
So when I chanced upon this figurine, I know that it's the most appropriate Father's day pressie for hubby :)Hubby, hope you like it :)

The Passing of my Maternal Grandpa

Got a phone call from my sis at around 6.15am on Wednesday 17 June 2009, telling me that our ah gong (my mum's dad) have just passed away ... he was 85 years old.
The wake was carried over a period of 5 days and the funeral was on Sunday 21 June 2009, which is also Father's Day.
Some told me not to bring Ian to the wake/funeral (saying that must be 3 yrs old and above, not good for him, blah blah blah) but I want to and I'm very firm on that. After witnessing 4 deaths in my family, within the last 5 years, I rather do things the way I feel it should be ... Ian is the eldest and first great grandchild and I want my ah gong to have his 4th generation there, seeing him off on his last journey.
When Ian saw me (and the rest) crying when the coffin was entering the cremation point, he was very quiet and kept holding on to me. He waved and said "bye, dou gong" ... that's when I know I made the right decision.

Sayonara Yao Lan
Since about 2 weeks back, my lil koala weaned himself totally off the Yao Lan ... and the Yao Lan is now officially a member of the renowned STORE ROOM kekeke ...
The strange thing is that we didn't force him to wean off ... he did it himself :)

The Little Big Club Concert

Yesterday, we had a date with 4 other families to go watch The Little Big Club Concert at Singapore Expo keke ... Joshua & family, Athan & family, Jovial & family and Kendrick & family :)Before the start of the concert - Ian kept pointing to the bucket of popcorns and saying non-stop "mum mum" ... so bought for him that at S$10!!!
Inside the hall before the show starts ...

The show starts! ... only managed to take pics of Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder before the 15 mins interval :)
And during the interval, Ian and Athan got into some hugging fun ahhahhahah and ended up wanting to sit beside each other *roll eyes* hahahha
Finale - Barney!!! And Ian and Athan did some dancing before the song ends :)
It was a nice show and the kids enjoyed themselves :)
